• Childrens Dentistry
• We believe in trying to make a childs experience
  at the Dentist as easy as possible, and as close
  to pain free as possible. All ages of children
  are catered for we have distractions for them
  before they enter the surgery, such as colouring
  in and a Wii with several PG games to play and a
  gentle approach to injections and treatments
  while they are in the chair.Regular check-ups
  and clean is an important routine to get a child
  started on the right path to good dental hygiene.
  Each child receives a gift upon leaving these
  regular appointments.For more serious treatment,
  in the cases where general anaesthetic may be
  needed, a referral to a Paediatric Dentist may be
  required.

• Root Canal Treatment
• We accept emergency patients where we can begin
  pain relief which can then require complete Root
  Canal Treatment (RCT). After the initial pain
  relief, generally RCT is pain free and can be
  completed in a further one appointment, difficult
  cases may require 2 or 3 appointments.Rubber Dam
  is always used when treating RCT patients. This
  is for contamination reasons and will produce a
  better end result for the patient.

• Crown and Bridge Work
• Some restorations are extremely large,
  encompassing most of the tooths structure. For
  strength and aesthetic reasons this may mean a
  need for a crown or in some cases several teeth
  in a bridge.
• Wisdom tooth removal
• The removal of wisdom teeth, or third molars, is
  one of the most common procedures carried
  out.The wisdom teeth grow at the back of your
  gums and are the last teeth to come through. Most
  people have four wisdom teeth, one in each
  corner.Wisdom teeth usually grow through the
  gums during the late teens or early twenties. By
  this time, the other 28 adult teeth are usually
  in place so there isnt always enough room in the
  mouth for the wisdom teeth to grow properly.Due
  to the lack of space, the wisdom teeth can
  sometimes emerge at an angle or get stuck and
  only emerge partially. Wisdom teeth that grow
  through in this way are known as impacted.

  of patients who require restoration of the oral
  and dental tissues. In the simple population,
  remaining dentate into later life, increasingly
  issues concerning the most appropriate, relevant
  dental management assume a high priority for the
  individual. The specialty involves contributing
  to the care of the elderly and those with special
  medical needs together with those with learning
  difficulties for whom appropriate management is
  important, in addition to providing treatment for
  those who require complex dental care.
  Restorative Dentistry includes all aspects of
  Periodontics, Endodontics and Fixed and Removable
  Prosthodontics, including Maxillofacial
  Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry.

• If carried out by a trained dental professional,
  whitening is perfectly safe. Based on their
  knowledge of your oral health we will discuss
  with you the options available, decide if tooth
  whitening is appropriate for you and develop an
  overall treatment plan that gives the desired
  result.Youll get to see on a chart what shade
  your teeth are before the treatment and what
  shade youre likely to achieve. At the end of the
  treatment we will show you the actual result so
  you can understand how effective it was. You will
  also see when you look in the mirror!This well
  proven technique is the least invasive method of
  changing your smile. However, it will not change
  the color of existing restorations and they may
  need replacing.
