AINP (Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program) is one
of the few economic immigration programs that
allow certain semi-skilled workers to qualify for
permanent residence in Canada

The AINP remains an attractive option for
workers in Alberta who dont qualify under the
Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal
Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian
Experience Class.

Another advantage of AINP is that its language
proficiency standards are lower than those of the
federal economic immigration programs.

It is a possible option for international
students who have recently graduated and to
semi-skilled workers who are unlikely to do
particularly well on a language proficiency exam,
such as IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF.
