When we consume caffeine, adrenaline is produced,
and it can prevent the body from relaxing
sufficiently for restorative sleep. It takes the
body to detoxify remove caffeine from
circulation, so that if you have your morning
coffee around 8 am you are only free from the
effects of caffeine at 8 pm. If you consume some
chocolate or coffee after lunch or dinner, then
you will have high levels of caffeine circulating
come bed time.
