The four Sentence Structures
  • There are four sentence structures in English
    Language
  • Simple
  • Compound
  • Complex
  • Compound-Complex

1. Simple Sentences
  • It is the easiest type of sentences. You dont
    even need any sentence structure corrector.
    Seriously. The reason why is because it has only
    one independent clause.
  • Independent clause is a complete thought that is
    expressed by a group of words.
  • Example
  • I eat fish.

2. Compound Sentences
  • A compound sentence is a bit harder. It contains
    two independent clauses connected by a
    coordinating conjunction or a semicolon.
  • Example
  • I eat fish and she eats meat.
