About The Boarding Lounge
The Boarding Lounge is part of The Vet Lounge -
an award winning veterinary practice with 3
locations on the Gold Coast. We are very honoured
to be the winner of 2 prestigious business awards
- Telstra Business Award (QLD Winner) and a Gold
Coast Business Excellence Award.

Cat Behaviour
Hours of research went into our indoor boarding
facility to ensure our guests physical and
mental needs are being met. Our catteries offer
play areas for those who love to get frisky and
explore, however your cats suite is spacious
with plenty of jumping and climbing, so some
prefer to stay inside the comfort of their room.
Our staff individualise care for each cat
dependent on their personality.

News from The Boarding Lounge
Keep up to date with the latest news and pet
health information Fleas are not welcome in our
cattery! A quality flea control product
(Frontline, Comfortis, Revolution, Advantage or
Advocate) should be applied at least 2 days prior
to your cats stay to ensure they do not bring
fleas into the cattery.

We love to show off our gorgeous guests! Feel
free to browse through our gallery and let us
know if you would like your pet added.We love
making people smile, so will periodically email
or text photos and videos of your cat so you can
be sure they are happy and enjoying their home
away from home.

Our awards
The Vet Lounge has won multiple business awards.
Find out about them here! An initial instalment
of 4 weeks boarding fees are required. We then
require fortnightly payments for the remainder of
your cats stay. We can process this payment via
credit card on an agreed day each fortnight.
