• The Foreign Educational Institutions (Regulation
  of Entry and Operations) Bill is set towards
  boosting the education system in India.
• The bill will allow foreign universities to setup
  independent campuses in India and by doing this
  the government is keen on making India an
  education hub in the world and is promoting it
  with the tagline, "Educate In India".
• Fiinovation believes that we want to project
  India as a centre of excellent education.
• But Fiinovation likes to ask, why do we need
  foreign universities to setup their subsidiaries
  here for doing that? This shows that we have less
  faith in our own education system.

• Fiinovation believes that education is not any
  business and we should not try to commercialize
  it.
• Instead of inviting other universities to set up
  their subsidiaries on our land we should try to
  improve quality of our own educational
  institution.
• We have 129 universities and more than 35000
  colleges in the country, but the question is that
  are these institutions providing quality
  education? And if not then what is the reason
  behind it? We need some serious introspection to
  do in our education system.

• Fiinovation believes some urgent reforms are
  needed to improve the quality of education we are
  giving our young generation.
• We need to make a shift from a route based
  examination education system to a innovative and
  understanding based system, which gives enough
  space for the student to experiment and learn by
  doing.

• If we want to make India a educational hub in the
  world we must do it by uplifting the standard of
  our own education system.
• To achieve this we must develop the
  infrastructure of our existing educational
  institutes, provide better training facilities to
  the faculties and promote research as much as we
  can.
• India has given world class scholars to the
  world. From literature to science we have
  produced world class scientist, historians,
  doctors, mathematicians etc. but the irony is
  that our talent has to go abroad for better
  opportunities.

• This practice needs to be stopped and it can only
  be done by meeting the infrastructural and
  financial needs of the education system in India.
