Title: Reckless Driving
1Its a sunny afternoon and you are driving your
family to the beach for some reckless fun.
2This is a much overdo vacation that you promised
everyone, so that everyone can relax and have a
good time.
3You yourself have been looking forward to this
time as well.
4Working 60 hours a week for the past couple of
months has really left you drained, and in need
of a good time.
5While you are driving your family to the beach
though a driver zooms by going 20 miles over the
speed limit.
6This driver is putting you, your family,
themselves, and everyone on the road in danger
due to their inability to follow the rules and
drive safe.
7A few moments later you notice flashing lights
and ambulances rushing by you.
8There has been an accident.
9It turns out that the driver that was speeding
ended up hitting a slick spot on the road and
crashed their vehicle.
10The driver dies on impact.
11What was supposed to be a fun vacation for
everyone has turned gloomy before you are even
able to enjoy the beach.
12Even though the person speeding ended up dying,
drivers can still learn from this to remind them
what happens when people drive recklessly.
13The most common types of reckless driving include
speeding, tailgating, and drunk driving.
14The most dangerous behavior is speeding.
15Drivers are more likely to get into crashes when
they speed, and are more likely to die from this.
16The second activity that drivers can do that puts
them in danger is tailgating.
17By not keeping a safe distance from the other
vehicle drivers are more likely to get in an
accident that could lead to injury for not just
the driver that is tailgating and their
passengers, but also the driver and passengers of
the vehicle they were tailgating.
18Another common reckless behavior is drunk driving.
19The unfortunate truth about drunk driving is that
it takes the lives of millions of people every
year.
20This sort of behavior is totally preventable, yet
so many people refuse to take the steps necessary
to get home safely.
21In addition to the most common types of reckless
driving there are driving behaviors that are just
as dangerous and these include distracted
driving, not using turn signals, and running red
lights and stop signs.
22Each of these activities not only increases the
chances of the driver receiving a ticket, but
also ending up in an accident that could be fatal.
