• Calicut (Kozhikode) is tagged as the second best
  city of the country and is located in the most
  beautiful state of India, Kerala. This beautiful
  city has the most beautiful lakes, beaches,
  hillocks, parks, rivers, churches, temples and
  sculptures. Calicut is said to be the most
  significant trade center of Kerala. Because of

Calicut cuisine

• The cuisine of Calicut is under the influence of

Calicut culture

• The people of this city give immense importance

  songs and music of Calicut reflects its culture
  in the most beautiful manner. The songs of this

  synthesis of Malayalam and Arabic. The major
  dance forms include Kathakali, Koothu,
  Kaikottikali and Ottanthullal. The dance
  performances are usually made over the
