Introduction

• Linje Rivers, 30, is an attorney from
  Tallahassee, Florida. He began his legal career
  in 2009 after graduating from the University of
  Florida. Prior to that, he attended Morehouse
  College in 2006, in Georgia. He uses his outgoing
  personality to meet new people and can put his
  clients at ease. As an attorney, he is
  professional and effective.

Work

• Currently Linje Rivers works for the Florida
  Office of Financial Regulation as a Senior
  Attorney and Assistant Legal Counsel. He enjoys
  working for the government and feels like he is
  making a difference. He hopes to continue to work
  for the government for an even larger agency in
  the future. He has previously worked for a
  different government agency in Florida. From 2010
  to 2015, he worked for the Florida Department of
  Financial Services.

Duties

• As a Senior Attorney for the Florida Office of
  Financial Regulation, Linje Rivers as many
  important duties. Currently, he is working in the
  prosecution and enforcement section of the
  Division of Consumer Finance. He works to keep
  mortgage lenders and loan originators in
  alignment with government regulations. He helps
  to enforce regulations for money service
  businesses as well. He also drafts various
  important documents, like declaratory statements
  and administrative complaints.

Legal Aid Foundation

• Linje Rivers is a board member and Treasurer of
  the Legal Aid Foundation. As part of the Legal
  Aid Foundation, he helps provide legal counsel to
  those who may not be able to afford it otherwise.
  He recognizes the importance of the Legal Aid
  Foundation to those who are less fortunate. He
  gives his time and efforts to help the Legal Aid
  Foundation make a difference in the community.

Personal Time

• Though Linje Rivers is dedicated in his work as
  an attorney, he also recognizes the need for
  hobbies. He has always had a passion for learning
  and enjoys learning new languages. He enjoys
  reading, golf and working out to relieve stress
  and keep himself mentally and physically fit.
  Hes also interested in real estate and antique
  cars.
