Introduction

• While Daniel Chammas understands that his hard
  work has allowed him to progress in his career to
  the point where he now works for one of the top
  one hundred law firms in the United States,
  according to the AmLaw 100 Survey, he also
  realizes that his education laid the foundation
  for his current position at Venable LLP. He
  currently works on high stakes litigation cases
  for a number of Fortune 500 companies, in
  addition to advising businesses both large and
  small on how to comply with various state
  policies, but he also had a distinguished
  academic career that saw him attend one of the
  best law schools in the country.

Undergraduate

• Before studying law, he completed an
  undergraduate degree in Political Science at
  UCLA, graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts.
  UCLA itself is a well-regarded educational
  institution, boasting twelve graduates who have
  gone on to win Noble Prizes. However, the choice
  of subject also played a large part in helping
  Daniel achieve his goals of becoming a lawyer.
  Studying Political Science allowed him to hone
  his analytical skills early in his career, in

• After receiving his Bachelor of Arts, he went on
  to study law at Stanford Law School, which is one
  of the most prestigious in the country. With a
  history that stretches back to the late
  nineteenth century, Stanford has played an
  important role in the direction of the American
  legal system on a number of occasions. It also
  offers an exemplary level of education, which
  Daniel Chammas credits with helping him build the
  foundation in law that he needed to jump right
  into his career after he received his Juris
  Doctor in 1999. He is quick to point out that
  your education as a lawyer never stops, but it is
  important to law the building blocks early if you
  aim to enjoy a successful career.
