Title: AoFAQ - Kando Statement on First-Aid Training De-regulation

KANDO FIRST AID TRAINING IN THE HSE DE-REGULATED
SECTORhttp//kandoconsulting.co.uk/statement_1.ph

  • Due to recent allegations against Kando
Consulting and IQ First Aid, we have decided to
release an initial statement that will both
clarify our position and answer the concerns
raised. This has become particularly important in
light of the fact that AoFAQ have badly
mishandled the malpractice investigation into IQ
First Aid and subsequent complaints. Our concerns
are so great that we have had no choice but to
elevate the entire matter to Of qual, their
    regulatory body, for an independent
investigation. They have confirmed this is
happening. Therefore, at this time, David Arnold
is not able to speak with any authority about IQ
    First Aid or Kando.

  • There is no requirement to be registered with any
AO body as the entire first aid sector is
currently de-regulated. This means that the Level
3 Instructor training courses that we offer are
subject to our own high standards and meet the
Health Safety Act 1981 criteria for first aid
training. We keep those standards very high by
ensuring that we only engage the most highly
qualified training instructors to carry out
    comprehensive first aid training programs.
  • IQ First Aid certificates are embedded in our
instructor program and referred to as such in the
agreements with our trainers. All trainees who
have gained a pass on our course have therefore
achieved the FAW Level 3 certificate of
achievement as approved by our SVQ Level 4
    Trainer/Approver status.
