2Hard money loans are tools for investors,
business owners, property owners, would-be
property owners and others for whom conventional
loans are unattractive or unavailable.
Originally, the term was used to describe any
loan that was secured by property or other
collateral, as opposed to unsecured borrowing,
such as cash advances from a credit card or bank
line of credit. Today, although the meaning has
not really changed, the way that the term is used

4Basic of Hard Money Loan
- A hard money loan can only be based on
collateral. The collateral is the home or housing
units. What is more, because of the risky nature
of the venture, only approximately 50 to 60 of
the normal property value will ever be covered by
a hard money loan. This is because the value
being considered in the loan is based on the
immediate purchase price, which refers to the
amount of money the seller could get if he was
forced to sell within a one to three month period.

During this time, Tyler cut his teeth as a loan
originator and Branch Manager for Morgan
Financial/WJ Bradley and Geneva Financial. Tyler
manages Capstones borrower network, product
portfolio, and the day-to-day operations. His
responsibilities include developing and managing
the borrower relationships and underwriting all
investor loans. - Tyler graduated from Washington State University
in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Communication, and in 1998 he received a
Certificate of Communication from the University
of Washington Graduate School. After college
graduation, Mr. Stone worked on various public
campaigns in the Washington area before moving
into the telecommunications industry where he
worked as a Business Account Manager for US WEST,
a Data Account Manager for ATT, then as Director
of Marketing and Sales at Zama Networks, an IPv6
network and Co-location company in Seattle, WA.
