The State of Chhattisgarh is located in the
Central region of India. The new State of
Chhattisgarh was born with a new Chief Minister
in Raipur, the capital, in the early hours of
November 1.

During the British rule till 1947, some of the
areas of present Chhattisgarh were princely state.

with Madhya Pradesh. The people of the land
demanded a separate autonomous state and
Chhattisgarh was formed on November 01, 2000.
