How to Choose a New Bath
For many people, the bath is the most important
piece of bathroom furniture. However, choosing a
new bath isnt as simple as just choosing a bath.
There are a few things that you need to consider
when buying a new bath. Below, we have created a
guide to help you to make the best decision when
making this choice. Bath Style The first thing
to think about is the style of the bath. We dont
mean from a fashion perspective, and whether it
fits the style of the room, but rather, its shape
and size. Here are a few things to think about
2
Few things to think about
  1. Do you want a space saving bath? If the room is
relatively small, you should consider corner
baths. They allow all the luxury of having a
bath, without taking up as much space as the
traditional rectangular baths. Corner baths are
great for smaller rooms that still require a
    bath.
  2. Do you want a deep bath? Think about how you like
to take your bath. Some people prefer to have a
lot of water, while others prefer a shallower
    unit.
  3. Do you have any special requirements? You can buy
specialist baths for people with mobility
problems. There are a number of different
versions some have doors that seal shut, while
    others have winches.

Types of taps..
  • Bath Taps
  • There are two main types of taps deck mounted
taps, which attach directly to the bath, and wall
mounted taps. Aside from this, there are three
    tap choices
  • Pillar taps these are two separate taps, one for
    hot and one for cold.
  • Mixer taps here, the cold and hot water run
together in a single flow. However, there are
    still two taps.
  • 3. Monomixer taps very similar to the above,
but the control is a single unit as well.

Shower Attachments If you have a shower cubicle,
you probably dont want a shower attachment on
the bath. We have both, and it doesnt look very
good. In general, baths look best when they only
have taps. However, this is a matter of personal
preference. Still, its worth considering whether
you really need the additional showerhead on the
bath. Bath Drain In general, you can find the
drain in one of two locations. Either, its at
the toe of the bath, or, its in the middle of
the bath. You should try to choose a bath with
pipes that finish roughly where your homes
pipework is otherwise, you might have to install
additional pipes, and this can be problematic
because the more pipework there is, the more
likely it is to leak.

The Material Baths come in a variety of
different materials, but in general, steel baths
are the highest quality. You might assume that,
because theyre steel, theyre also silver in
colour, but, actually, you can buy white steel
baths (theyre extremely popular). Steel works
best because it is less corrosive than other
metals, it has natural antibacterial properties
and it is extremely durable. If you are
interested in buying a new bath, then come and

and corner baths,at www.theshowerandmirrorwarehous
