South Fork American River Rafting
A South Fork American River rafting trip is by
far one of the best whitewater rivers in
California. It is an adventure you wont want to
miss. The river boasts 50 rapids in just 21
miles. If you are a new guest with us, then
rafting the South Fork American River is the best
choice. This river has plenty of calm, relaxing
water, some moderate class 3 rapids surrounded by
stunning wilderness scenery.

North Fork American River Rafting
Available during the early spring, typically
April and May. Starting as a mild stream, the
North Fork of the American River quickly gathers
momentum and enters the class IV Chamberlin
Falls Gorge, the most difficult of all the forks
of the American. Running only in the early spring
with the melting snow from the Sierras, the North
Fork drops through a very steep gorge between
house-sized boulders and over waterfalls that
reach eight feet in height. Crystal clear water
and rapids that seem endless are the trademark of
this technical, challenging river. This is one of
the most beautiful rivers in the Sierras and
should be attempted only by those with previous
rafting experience.

American River Combo Trips
The South, North, and Middle Forks of the
American River are excellent choices for
combining two or three different river trips into
one exciting adventure. There are many options
available for trips that are from two to five
days in length. We provide all great meals,
camping is at our own private riverside camp
area, you can bring your own camping gear or rent
from us. We even have deluxe Cabin Tents that
sleep 4 with cots and pads.

dining. There is nothing better than a delicious
spread of mouth-watering food after an exciting
day of whitewater rafting. We serve only the best
food meticulously prepared by our chefs who love

presentation as well.
Our American River campground has a
state-of-the-art kitchen that includes a Shaved
Ice Cart and everything needed to pamper you with
our excellent food and service. And youre going
to love the buffet style dining in our beautiful
outdoor riverside campground setting.
