for their parents. Without them, family remains

kid complete care from birth to the age of 21 to
keep your children healthy. We also provide you
same day appointments to keep you child healthy
and to meet your unplanned needs.
2Newborns
- Our doctors see newborns at Sky Ridge Medical
Center, Littleton Hospital, and Swedish Medical
Center. Our doctors check on newborns daily,
after which they will discuss your babys
progress with you and answer all your questions
in your room. - our doctors have agreements with other
pediatricians who will cover at any other Denver
area hospital. - our doctors can admit and care for sick children
at The Childrens Hospital in Aurora (preferred
for especially serious or complex problems that
might require specialists).
3Our Keystone Team
- Our office is staffed by trained pediatrics
nurses and medical assistants, whose job it is to
help answer your questions, prepare your child to
see the doctor, and keep the office running
smoothly. - Each has been trained in nursing and office
skills, many have worked in other pediatrics
positions before coming to us, and most have
their own kids, too. - This helps them to understand the difficulties
you are going through when your children are ill.
4Sick Patients
- ACNE Acne is a very common ailment of teenagers,
affecting up to 80 of all adolescents.
Initially, comedones (blackheads and whiteheads)
are seen due to blocked follicles of skin cells
on the face, chest, or back, which fill with
sebum. - ANTIBIOTICS The discovery of penicillin in the
1940s was met with euphoria. We finally had an
antibiotic that could cure infections. Penicillin
became a panacea. It was felt to be a wonder
drug that would save us from most any ailment. - BED WETTING Bed wetting, also called enuresis,
is common in some children between 3 years old
and as old as adolescence. It is more common in
boys than girls and can occur in up to 20 of
children.
5Well Patients
- Well Child Checkups Our office follows the
guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics
in recommending routine physicals for your
children. - For each of routine check up, we allot 20 to 30
minutes. Initially, our nurse will bring you and
your child to one of our exam rooms. - Each child is weighed and measured, and growth
parameters are plotted on a growth curve for our
doctors to review with you. - Prior to examining your child, our doctors will
start by answering all your questions, and then
discuss your childs growth, development.
