Title: Does Evil Exist?

1
Does evil exist?
2
One day, a university student questioned his
professor.
3
He assumed the professor would not be able to
answer.
4
Did God create everything that exists? he asked.
5
Another student blurted out Yes, He did."
6
Everything? the professor asked.
Yes, everything the student answered.
7
In that case, God also created evil. Correct?
Because evil exists the professor said.
8
Yes, said the student. Really? asked the
professor.
The other students remained silent.
9
The professor allowed a moment for contemplation,
then asked
10
Does cold exist?
Of course,
came the answer.
11
Actually, cold does not exist. Cold is the total
and complete absence of heat.
12
An object may only be studied if it has and
transmits energy. It is heat that transmits
energy .
13
Without heat, objects are inert, incapable to
react. We created the term cold to explain lack
of heat.
14
And what about darkness? Does it exist?
Yes, replied the students.
15
Again, you are incorrect. Darkness is actually
the total absence of light.
16
You can study light and brightness, but not
darkness.
A prism shows the variety of different colors in
which the light can be decomposed according to
the longitude of the waves.
17
We created the term darkness to explain
the total absence of light.
18
And evil does evil exist? asked the
professor, pausing amid the silence for a
response.
19
God did not create evil. Evil is the absence of
God in peoples hearts. It is the absence of
love, humanity and faith. Love and faith are like
heat and light. They exist. Their absence lead to
evil.
20
The students remained silent.
21
And God saw that the light was good and God
separated the light from the darkness. Genesis
14
And the light shineth in darkness and the
darkness comprehended it not. John 15
