3. Specific food storage requirements
2Specific storage requirements (Fridge Freezer)
(part I)
- use containers, plastic wraps or bags for storing
food - avoid placing unpackaged food in the fridge or
freezer - place food in the fridge properly
- dont leave the refrigerator door open for long

- make sure food has cooled down before you put it
in the fridge - dont stack foods tightly, allow proper air
circulation - never refreeze foods that have started to thaw

- Raw meat, fish, poultry should be put in
containers before placing them in the fridge - Seafood should be stored on ice in the fridge

avoid contact with ice

etc.) - expired products
- leak in the storage area
- products on the floor
- dust, impurities, unwanted humidity, standing
water or odors - products in opened containers
