IVF PROCEDURE

• The procedure starts with monitoring and

• development of eggs in the ovaries. The

  collecting the
• eggs and then securing the sperm.
• This is then followed by collecting the eggs and

• These are then together combined in the lab and

• The procedure ends with the transfer of these
  embryos
• in to the uterus.

• The first step is the ovulation induction which

• followed by retrieval of eggs through a minor
  surgical
• procedure which uses ultrasound imaging,

• by follicular aspiration.
• The second last step is the insemination. This
  is the process
• in which the sperm and eggs are placed in
  incubators in the
• lab. The fertilization occurs here.
• In the last step of the process, the embryos are
  then
• transferred into the womans uterus from one
  to six days
• later.
