• Sharon Gregory is the founder and
  president of Hexagon Solutions and Beyond
  (HexSAB), established over thirteen years ago.
  She provides customized Lean and Six Sigma
  training and project consulting services for a
  variety of industries. She helps her clients
  implement continuous improvement methodologies
  such as Lean and Six Sigma to achieve business
  results through training, statistical design and
  analysis techniques, project management, and team
  building and change leadership skills. Her
  passion for Lean and Six Sigma is clearly
  demonstrated through her enthusiastic, practical,
  and interactive style.A former high-school
  mathematics teacher, Sharon has a bachelors and
  masters degree in secondary mathematics
  education. She is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt
  with almost 20 years of experience in applying
  and teaching Lean and Six Sigma.

• Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is an
  excellent technique to visualize the waste in
  your organization that could affect your internal
  costs and your customers' experience and
  satisfaction. VSM is also a powerful way to
  communicate the vision for improvement to any
  level within the business. This workshop will
  review the potential waste sources in any
  industry and discuss how to determine Value-Added
  vs. Non-Value Added steps by understanding the
  components of a VSM. A step-by-step solution for
  creating an effective VSM will be presented
  through a hands-on example to which anyone can
  relate.
• Participants will
  understand the basics of how to create a current
  state VSM as well as learn appropriate questions
  to help build a future state VSM. Once
  opportunities for improvement are defined, a
  natural progression to other process improvement
  tools follows.
