This pie chart simply shows that 15 of the people
I asked were female and 5 of the people I asked
were male.

This pie chart shows that I asked a variety of
people who were various ages ranging from 15-25.
The majority of people I asked were 15,16,17
however there is at least one person for the
other age groups. This will make the results more
reliable.

This pie chart portrays that the majority of
people I asked were more interested in rock with
a result of 9. This is a positive result as I
have planned my magazine to be rock indie,
therefore this chart shows that it has a
potential audience. The least favourite was Rap
and House but this wont interfere with my
magazine plans as its rock/indie which are in the
top 3 highest chosen choices as the chart shows.

This pie chart shows that almost everyone likes
subgenres such as Rock with indie combined. This
is a modern day genre which is popular in the
charts. This supports my idea of my magazine
being rock with indie music combined therefore
this will definitely be the music I use for my
magazine as this graph supports the fact that
many people enjoy rock/indie music.

This pie chart highlights that blue was mainly
chosen 5 for a favourite colour therefore
taking in to consideration this result I may
include the colour blue on my magazine. For
example I may decide to use the colour blue for
my magazines graphic features. The least
favourite colour was lilac therefore I wont use
this on my magazine as this may be a colour that
doesnt appeal to very many people.

This pie chart is important as the results from
this will determine was colour scheme I will use
for my rock/indie magazine. This pie chart shows
that Black was the main colour chosen to be
associated with rock music therefore I will
definitely be using this colour. The second
highest colour chosen was red therefore I will
also be using this as I also think both red and
black connote rock music. From previous magazine
analysis I also know that black and red are used
quite often for rock magazines such as NME.

This pie chart is also important to my final
product decisions because this too will also
determine my colour scheme as my magazine is
using indie as a subgenre to rock music. The main
colour that was chosen was yellow therefore I
will definitely be considering using yellow for
my magazine. However, Black and red will be my
main colour scheme but it may feature yellow
graphic features or text to make them stand out a
bit more.

This pie chart highlights the rock bands and
soloist that could feature in my magazine. I will
definitely be using most of these artists because
these obviously interest various people. The main
band chosen was Nickleback therefore I will
consider using them as one of the main coverlines
on the front cover. Another band which was quite
highly chosen out of my audience sample was
Queen, these are quite a historic rock band which
I will definitely be using as in my initial ideas
I have chosen to use both present artists as well
as historic rock artists.

I chose to add this question into the
questionnaire to help me decide on a name for my
rock/indie magazine. This pie chart shows that
many people 11 associate the word Loud with
rock therefore I will consider using this word in
my magazine name. However, another word which was
highly chosen was Guitar therefore I may use
this word. However, I personally think I will use
Loud as its an adjective that definitely
connotes rock music. However, I could feature
some of the other words on the magazine to
reinforce the rock element.

This pie chart shows that it was 50/50 about how
many people they would like featured on the main
image of the front cover. Therefore, I will
consider both of the two choices and see which
layout looks better. This also could imply that
the amount of people on a image doesn't really
bother many people therefore I will use an image
that I think works best with the genre and layout.

This pie chart shows that out of the sample I had
chosen not many people buy magazines. However,
for those that do it shown that buying a magazine
monthly was most popular. Therefore, I will
consider making the magazine a monthly one which
I will then need to consider the issue size and
issue price.

This pie chart illustrated that the majority of
people who read magazines most like the updates.
Therefore, for both my front cover and contents
page I will consider adding updates about
different rock and indie music including the
artists themselves. Freebies and Gossip was also
quite popular however I wont be featuring gossip
as my magazine is souly about music but I could
feature buzzwords on the front cover which
connote freebies therefore this may make it
more appealing to others.

This pie chart connotes that the majority of the
people I asked dislike adverts which feature in
magazines. However, some adverts are how many
magazines make money, therefore I will either
include less adverts or minimise there size so
they aren't as noticeable or put them to the back
of the magazine so they wont bother the readers
as much when reading the different articles.

In conclusion these results will help me
construct my magazine and help me ensure that
people who enjoy or have an interest in
rock/indie music will like my magazine. These
results will also help me make sure that I meet
the right target audience for my magazine
otherwise it wouldn't be a very successful
magazine.
