2 The adventure begins once you land here - Leh
3Day 1 Arrival at Leh and Acclimatisation
This refreshing day, arrive at Leh. Check-in to
your hotel and relax. Sip on tea/coffee. Do
note, since it is very important for you to get
acclimatised in order to have a healthy journey,
the first three days will be reserved for the
same. Overnight will be spent in hotel

5Day 2 Acclimatisation Hike and Exploration of Leh
During the first half, indulge in breakfast and
dash off for an acclimatisation hike of 3-4
hours. The latter half, you can enjoy
unravelling the well-known monasteries around Leh
like Shey and Thiksey. Overnight will be spent
in hotel

7Day 3 Leh - Khardung La -Leh
This refreshing day, you venture out to Khardung
La. Perched at 5600m, it is a high motorable
pass. Spend some time here that will help you to
get used to thin air altitudes. When here,
witness great sights and go trigger happy. Come
evening and you will be given an orientation on
the trek by the lead guide. Overnight will be
spent in hotel

9Day 04-05 Leh - Stok Village(3650m) - Stok Base
Camp (4900m) (Trek/5-6 hrs)
With three good days spent on acclimatisation, on
day 4 and 5 you set off to Stok Kangri. On day
4, post a short drive, reach Stok Village and
tour the palace and gompa. Post which, you
commence the hike through Hemis National Park. It
will take you around 5-6 hours to reach the base
camp. In the course of the two days, you will
ascend from the campsites for altitude gain
following the simple principle of acclimatisation
which says 'climb high - sleep low'. Overnight
for both the days will be spent in tents.

11Day 06 Base camp - Stok Kangri(6153m) - Base
Camp (4900m), (Trek/10-12 hours)
From the basecamp, begin super early (around
2am). Your head lamps will show the trail for
some hours till the sun rises. From the start
there is a steep ascend to the ridge just above
the camp, the rest of the trek will continue in a
similar manner. The last stretch is very steep
and the thin air adds to the challenge. Once on
top, you can set your eyes on Karakoram and
Ladakh range to the north, the Zanskar Range to
the west and a bird's eye view of the Indus
valley and the Leh city. Savour the moment of
conquering a 6000m peak . The climb to the top
will take anywhere between 6 to 8 hours while the
return trip will take us around 4
hours. Overnight will be spent in treks.

13Day 7 Stok Base camp - Stok Village(3650m)
(Trek/4hr) - Leh (drive/30 mins)
This day will entail trekking back to Stok
Village from the base camp. When here, drive for
1 hour to Leh and check in to the
hotel. Overnight will be spent at the hotel.

15Day 8 Extra Day at Leh
This extra day is kept in case one more day is
spent in climbing, the weather is not conducive
or one person has not acclimatised well. If
this extra day has not been used up, it can be
spent in unravelling Leh. If you wish, you can go
river rafting on the Indus or a road trip to
Pangong Tso Lake. Overnight will be spent in a
hotel.

17Day 8 Leh Departure
Trip ends here . After breakfast, depart for
your onward destination.
