Who are Chartered Accountants?

• They are individuals who are trained to examine,

Becoming a Chartered Accountant

• The common proficiency course is the entry level
  course for CA. It incorporates 4 subjects, i.e.
  mercantile laws, accounting, quantitative
  aptitude and general economics. A candidate who
  has cleared class 10th could enroll with the
  institute for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT).
• Generally, CPT is an objective type test of 200
  marks conducted in two sessions of two hours
  each. An applicant could join the Accounting
  Technician Course (ATC) or Integrated
  Professional Competence Course (IPCC).
