What is Ramnika Foundation

• Ramnika Foundation is a trust. It is a non
  profit, non-political and a secular organisation.
  It was formed in 1995 and registered in 1997 at
  Hazari Bagh, Jharkhand. At present its work is
  carried out from its permanent administrative
  office at Delhi.
• It is run by a Board/Committee comprising of
  13 persons besides President.
• The Board meets twice a year
• The major force behind the Foundation is the
  founder member Mrs. Ramnika Gupta.

Dalit Normal issue
India's caste system assigns individuals a
certain hierarchical status according to Hindu
beliefs. Traditionally, there are four principal
castes (divided into many sub-categories) and one
category of people who fall outside the caste
systemthe Dalits. As members of the lowest rank
of Indian society, Dalits face discrimination at
almost every level from access to education and
medical facilities to restrictions on where they
can live and what jobs they can have.
