A crane is a lifting machine that works with the

Tower Cranes
Tower cranes are usually seen in cities. These

weight at a time. These cranes are not mobile,
they are attached to the ground during the time
of construction. These are mounted over a
concrete pad so that it can get support.

Hydraulic Truck Cranes
Hydraulic Truck cranes are used in the
construction of bridges, buildings, airports,
roadways etc. These cranes can lift thousands of
pounds using hydraulics.

All Terrain Cranes
All terrain cranes are multi-functional cranes
designed to be driven both on road and off-road.
These cranes are powered by one or two engines.

Crawler Cranes
A crawler crane is a mobile crane that does not
need outriggers for stability. Instead of tires a
crawler crane is mounted to a chassis with a set
of tracks. They are however very expensive to
transport from site to site because of their
great size and weight.

Carry Deck Cranes
A carry deck crane are smaller truck cranes. They
travel on four tires and can rotate 360-degree.
These trucks can be used when the working space
is small. It can also carry things on the
built-in deck around the cab.
