With the people of Bangalore, Nandi Hill is a
health resort that has gained quite a bit of
popularity. For the kids, there is the amusement
park Bangalore and an amusement park Kochi that
are both quite the hoot. There is an ethereal
lake as well as a beautiful green valley that
presents a picture perfect setting for the
holidaymakers. Quite nearby to Bangalore is
located Ramohalli which is famous for its big
Banyan tree that is known by the name of Doda
Alada Mara. This particular tree is spread across

visiting. The Banerghatta National Park as well
as an amusement park resort is a natural retreat
that is located quite close to Bangalore.

destination in India is Kerala, which is called
by the natives the country of god himself. It is
actually sandwiched between the Arabian Sea on
the west and the Western Ghats on the east. From
all over the world tourists come in great
numbers to Kerala because of its breathtakingly
beautiful backwaters, paddy fields, rivers,
palm fringed beaches, spice plantations, coconut
canopies and the infamous ever green
tropical forests. The most ideal way of
discovering Kerala is by cruising along its
backwaters that stretch for over 1500 kilometers
and are covered with swinging palm trees.

These backwaters are quite important for the
locals with regard to both lifestyle as well
as economy. They have various uses such as
transportation of merchandise etc. The boats
that the locals travel on are called
"Kettuvalloms". They are stitched boats that are
constructed by stitching coconut ropes with
wooden planks. The backwaters comprise of
several canals, lagoons, rivers, and lakes across
the state of Kerala. One of the most beautiful
coastal cities of India is also Cochin or Kochi.
There are a lot of Cochin Tourist Places as it
happens to be a plethora of peninsulas and
islands. Bolgatty, Vypeen, Gundu and Vallarpadam
make up the list of the citys scenic islands and
are at the top of the Places to See in Kochi. The
city is also referred to as the 'Queen of the
Arabian Sea'. Apart from the backwater Kochi is
famous for landmarks of cultural heritage such
as the Jewish synagogue and the Dutch palace
along with the St. Francis Church.
