Dr. Thomas Marvelli is a highly reputed

completing his high school education from
Galesburg Senior High School, Galesburg,
Illinois, he attended Southern Illinois
University, Carbondale, IL for a year and then
enrolled in a B.S. degree program in
Zoology/Chemistry at the Eastern Illinois
University, Charleston, IL. He received his
degree in 1975, following which he went on to
pursue his M.D at Loyola University Stritch
School of Medicine, Maywood, IL. He completed his
M.D. in 1978 and began his residency in Internal
Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and
Clinics, the same year.

After completing his residency in the year 1980,
he enrolled in a one-year residency program in
Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical
Center. Soon after this, he joined another
residency program in Ophthalmology at Louisiana
State University Eye Center. During this time
period, he conducted many researches like
research on extraction of endogenous hormones in
rat salivary glands, and more.
