Daren Vanderley is a talented car racer from AL,
United States, who has won a number of
championships in his career, including ?Five
track championships in go-carts, Two state
championships in INEX legend cars, and many more.
He started racing at the age of five in an
A-restricted kart and won his first championship,
when he was only seven years old. After winning
his first feature race at the age of eleven, he
spent the following two years traveling the
southeast, learning new tracks, making maps, and
competing on road courses in the Pro Division of
the Skip Barber Formula Dodge Series. During this
time period, he also won a couple of races in his
Legend car. Once more thing that kept the eleven
year old busy was attending two car control
clinics offered by Skip Barber Racing to fine
tine his skills.

• The following years too came with many
  victories for the racer, who now is a well-known
  face among hard core racing fans. Other than
  practicing for the tournaments ahead, what keeps
  Daren occupied is building Holley carburetors at
  his father's company VDL Fuel Systems. He
  loves building these engine devices and have
  spent several years learning the inner working of
  combustion engines.

Despite his involvement in sports Daren Vanderley
never ignored his studies and was always a bright
student in school and college. While pursuing his
secondary education from UMS-Wright Preparatory
school, Mobile, AL, he even received Spirit of
Auburn Presidential Scholarship to attend the
Honors College at the Auburn University. When it
came to choosing the subjects for his Bachelor's
program, rather than going the easy way, Daren
decided to opt for Mechanical Engineering and
successfully completed the degree in May, 2014.
