Terry Hay of New Zealand An Entrepreneur
Terry Hay of New Zealand purchased Pacific Flight
Catering and ran it until retiring again. Then he
retired for the second time in his life in 2008,
but he is keeping busy by consulting to the food
industry. He found himself watching too much
daytime TV and so started a new business, Fresh
Developments, in New Zealand.

Terry Hay, a New Zealand resident, is a veteran
of the United States Marine Corps and served in
Vietnam, and is a graduate of the University of
California at Irvine. He retired for a second
time in 2008, after operating a medium sized
flight catering business for about twelve years.
He still keeps busy by providing consulting
services to food businesses, and says that he
travels a lot and eats too much.

Terry Hay of New Zealand bought an existing
business called Pacific Flight Catering in 1996.
He sold both of those businesses and stayed with
the flight catering business until he retired in
2008. By then he had founded two previous
businesses, both of them successful
a health food distribution company in Hawaii in
1971, and a business that supplied salads to
supermarkets in New Zealand in 1989.

By the time Terry Hay of New Zealand sold his
company, he employed thirty-five people. That is
why he came out of an early retirement to start a
business called Fresh Developments in New
Zealand. He retired for a second time in 2008.
From there he bought a flight catering business
in 1996, which he describes as a medium sized
business that employed three hundred people.
Terry Hay says that retirement did not agree with
him, so he started a second business, this time
in New Zealand.
