HIGH SCHOOL CREDITS
  • Earn 1 unit of credit per SEMESTER course.
  • Earn 4 units per semester
  • Credits earned at the end of first semester
    (December) and second semester (May) are recorded
    on the high school transcript.
  • Must earn a grade of 70 or above at semester end
    to earn credit.
  • Progress reports are distributed at 6 and 12
    weeks, with final grade reported at 18 weeks

  • Some courses All Fine Arts, some Business

What is A.P.?
  • Advanced Placement course determined by College
    Board standards, audited annually
  • AP is a college level course, requires college
    level thought processes and work
  • Students are expected to take the AP exam in May
  • A score of 3 or higher (scale of 1-5) can lead to
    college credit for the course
  • AP carries extra 1.0 quality point in GPA
