  socially-acceptable, and ethical biometrics

  and competitive biometrics market in the European
  Union conferences, seminars
• Research - promote and facilitate the development
  of world-class RD, performance evaluation, and
  standards testing and certification academic

MIT Project

• Objectives
• define criteria for interoperability testing
• develop a database of fingerprint images to
  enable testing
• develop a test bed enabling the automated and
  repeatable testing of fingerprint minutiae
  interoperability
• define the impact of image quality on
  interoperability
• improve the interoperability of the tested
  systems
• provide for the testing of interoperability of
  future systems from further vendors.
