Description of XP-SWMM GIS Module

• Comprised of 2 principal components
• Ability to view and encode shape files as
  backgrounds
• Import and export external databases
  (Principal component)
• Purpose is to integrate GIS data with XP-SWMM and
  model results with GIS data sources
• Already configured for EXCEL, ACCESS and .DBF
• Compatible with all GIS systems by connecting to
  the data using OLE and ODBC technology

• This feature is extremely useful when working on
  large public projects with a range of photographs
  available.
• Most standard image file types are supported
  including BMP, DXF, JPG, TIFF, WMF and others.

Create a new connection starts the wizard

Wizards take you step by step to link to the data

Map your data to the XP database definitions

Once configured a simple click allows data to be
imported, exported and updated
