What is Weather?

• Weather is a condition of the atmosphere at a
  particular time and place .

• Also, Weather can be the study of the day to
  day variations of the atmosphere and their
  effects on life and human activity.

• It includes temperature, pressure, humidity,
  clouds, wind, precipitation and fog

Temperature Sensor

• This sensors monitors temperature, humidity,
  barometric pressure and dew point.

Temperature is a degree of hotness or coldness
measured against some definite scale by means of
a thermometer
Humidity is a measure of the water vapor content
of the air
A barometer is an instrument used to measure air
pressure. Air pressure is usually expressed in
units of millibars (mb) or inches of mercury (in.
Hg.).
Dew Point is a measure of atmospheric moisture.
It is the temperature to which air must be
cooled in order to reach saturation (assuming air
pressure and moisture content are constant).

• Rain Gauge - An instrument used to measure
  rainfall amounts.

• Anemometer - An instrument to measure wind
  speed. Wind directions are always reported as the
  direction winds are coming from - a southerly
  wind pushes air from the south to the north.
