• Has been used recently in a reconnaissance role
  in Iraq and Afghanistan.
• Land based on US and foreign coasts.

SH-60 Sea Hawk

• Naval version of the Armys Black Hawk.
• Multi purpose Used in ASW operations, airlift,
  personnel transport etc

CH-53 Sea Dragon

• Largest helicopter lift capacity in the free
  world.
• Used primarily for moving cargo and equipment.
• Has found new use in mine sweeping operations
• On the way out of the fleet

F/A-18 Hornet F/A-18E Super Hornet

• The Navys Multi purpose fighter jet
• New Super Hornet variants are replacing the
  fleets Prowlers, Tomcats and Vikings.
• The only jet fighter currently available to us as
  aviators.

  with the Lockheed-Martin JSF.
