What are the expectations?
  • 1) Spend time with NTP manager to understand the
    DOTS Strategy and its applications in country.
    Conduct a needs assessment to help the NTP
    manager identify their own ACS needs.
  • 2) Ask what are the strategic directions within
    the national program that ACS could contribute
    to? ACS should not be a stand alone enterprise
    but rather integrated into the technical program.
  • 3) Can clear ACS objectives, activities, and
    initiatives be developed and incorporated into
    the GFATM framework?
  • 4) What is the future of the National TB Program?
    How can ASC contribute to the achievement of
    those goals? Attempt a visioning exercise with
    national program to examine ways ACS can be
    institutionalized.
  • 5) Consultants are auxiliaries to the GFATM
    writing process. Provide help and
    recommendations
