The Quest

• We set out to explore and investigate
  incarcerated animals in animal shelters and pet
  shops around the world. We learned many things
  about the living conditions of these poor
  creatures and made many long lasting furry
  friendships. However our hypothesis was
  confirmed that the Kentucky Humane Society held
  the highest standards among all the rest.

• Comments 100s of frozen rats for sale
• Dogs walking in self waste
• Lizards cage was broken, and two were on the run
  until captured. (we named them bonnie and Clyde)
• Workers were Rednecks, but well educated on
  animal behavior.

Kentucky Humane SocietyOut in Bumfu

• Rating 6
• Comments Every day cages and rooms completely
  stripped down and sprayed with micro-nex. Every
  2 weeks bleach is used.
• Very sanitary.
• Take 40-60 animals in a day. 7 days a week. 24
  hours a day.
• Each dog has their own run, they have air
  filters.
• The national average for Euthanasia is 75. But
  at Hum. Soc. it is only 40.

Humane Society Cont.

• Two years from now a new building will be put in,
  with no cages. Instead they will have real
  living spaces with furniture.

• Rating 1
• Comments The fish turned cannibalistic and began
  to eat the dead floating fish.
• There were fish in global jars that looked to be
  on their death beds.
• When approached, the only cat in the store hissed
  and pissed on himself, in the cage.
• Big water spillnobody doing a damn thing about
  it. BIG HAZARD. Graham almost fell and broke
  his face.

Greentree

• Despite obvious discrepancies, the workers
  allowed Kimmy to use their private restroom.
  Which was stocked to the nines. The restroom was
  the nicest place in the building. Deodorant,
  Vaseline, Fingernail polish remover, Q-tips,
  Band-Aids, Cotton balls, Make-up, Tooth paste and
  brushesIt was a regular beauty piss pot.

Pet ParadiseRiver Falls Mall

• Rating 3
• Comments Conditions were very clean.
• There was a lot of extra space in the store.
  (organizational skills good)
• However, animals looked very unhappy.
• Dogs and ferrets kept in cages behind sound proof
  dirty glass walls. They were very lethargic and
  had no enthusiasm when approached.

• Comments Dead and hungry fish.
• One fish bit crazily at Grahams finger when put
  against the cage. Totally insane fish. It needs
  food.
• Sick gorilla.
• Filthy and rotten plastic cages for the snakes.
• But lovely backgrounds for the fish tanks,
  variety.
• Overall shop was clean.

• Comments Cup cakes, Cakes, clothing, pictures,
  beds, blankets, collars, ornaments, postcards,
  delicatessen foods, anything and everything your
  dog could ever want.
• A bit overly OBSESSIVE

• Comments Smelled.odiferous. Really cramped.
  Small variety.
• Butclean fish tanks. And their prize winning
  award a 24 year old humongo fish, named Clyde.
  With a 10 inch bone.

Westport Plaza Pet ShopWestport Rd. (duh)

• Rating 6
• Comments Very clean.
• Dog running playfully about the store. Stuck his
  ass up at Graham. Graham did the same back at
  dog. Dog had toenails painted green.
• Tanks and cages in good condition.
• Fair / good variety in fish and small mammals.

• Comments Floor of store was not very clean,
  needed to be mopped.
• Guinea pigs in small bin together, very cramped.
• Rat and mouse cages had shit all over them.
• Very clean fish tanks.
• They had Ferrets!!! ?

The Squirrel that Graham Killed

• There once was a story about a boy and a girl who
  were doing a project on the well being of animals
  around the world. The fair girl was so enthused
  about the project that she would ride and study
  the data while the boy rocked out heavily to
  his music paying little attention to anything but
  the cigarette that hung from his mouth. Anyway

• One tragic day, this boy (who just for names
  sake well call Graham) was driving speedily
  along and managed to run down a poor, innocent,
  (un-rabid-fied) baby squirrel
• It was only after the girl said something to
  him and made him feel bad did he shed a tear for
  the poor little creature.
• Now, everyone in the room should say,
• Aaaawwwwwww (but most certainly not for cruel
  graham but for the squirrel who has left us and
  gone to a better place.) thank you.
