  • Abraham Lincoln was one of our most famous and
    important presidents.
  • He was the 16th president of the United States.
  • He was president from 1860 1865
  • His picture is on the American penny and on the
    five dollar bill.
  • Many cities, streets, and schools are named after
    him.

  • He was born on February 12th 1809.
  • He was born in a log cabin in Kentucky.

  • An actor named John Wilkes Booth shot Lincoln in
    the back of his head when he was at the Ford
    Theater in Washington D.C.
