How will it work?

• Request for temps sent through to JST
• Jobs made available to registered temps
• Temps complete job
• Timesheets signed off by managers
• Students Union pays temps and invoices University

Cuts Costs?

• University paid 9.89 per hour last year for a
  temp
• JST would charge 9.00 an hour
• We can charge less because
• the SU is not commercially driven
• our overheads are smaller
• our client and temp market are on our doorstep

Timescales

• Pilot scheme January 2009
• Starting with a maximum of 20 students
• Review at Easter
• Proposals drafted for full launch in Sept 09
