sharing, promote equitable, affordable
and sustainable access to ICT and develop
related ICT capacities and skills by

- Objective

- To foster and guide an integrated
multi-stakeholder strategy leading - to
- a) Aboriginal communities gaining access to
high speed network - infrastructure and equitable high-speed
telecom service costs - acquire the capacity to maintain local
ICT network and equipment. - b) measures that encourage Aboriginal culture
to be preserved, promote - and gain access to on-line and promoted
globally - c) develop advanced and integrated Aboriginal
government services and - programs on-line
- d) the development and use of e-learning
services - e) develop inter-jurisdictional urban
aboriginal services and access

- - to encourage and facilitate
inter-departmental and Aboriginal - stakeholder partnerships and collaboration
- - advise senior government and Aboriginal
leaders on importance - of connectivity in Aboriginal communities

initiative that includes - consideration of governance,
coordination, infrastructure, sustainability - and the provision of equipment and
capacities to deliver e-health, e-ecdev, - e-gov, e-learning, e-culture development
