Mobilized Unit Inprocessing Center
(MUIC)
The MUIC is the initial interface between the RC
unit (Advance party) and the installation staff
for identifying mobilization requirements.
The following will be accomplished at the MUIC

• Unit processing in the areas of personnel,
  training, and logistics.
• Unit assigned to command and control element.
• Training support programmed.
• Cross leveling of personnel and equipment
  initiated.
• Facilities assigned (billeting, mess, admin,
  motor pools).
• Initial assessment of overall unit status.

Overview

• G3 Mob provides unit with location time of
  MUIC. MUIC is usually scheduled 48 hours prior
  to units MBSAD.
• Unit Advance Party (3-5 individuals) arrives at
  designated location/time.
• Advance Party checks in at Reception station
  receives overview In-processing Checklist -
  Reception station notifies OPCEN of unit arrival
• Advance Party processes through each station IAW
  checklist. The advance party provides
  documentation as outlined in FORSCOM Regulation
  500-3-3 and the Fort Carson Information Packet
  (provided to the unit prior to mobilization).
• Upon completion of MUIC unit returns to
  Reception station to drop off Checklist
