The barcode inventory control system is very
important in keeping track of employees
uniforms. 1. Pick-Up - All garments are scanned
in at the Cintas Plant before processing. 2. Afte
r the garments are cleaned, inspected,
steam-finished and sorted, each individuals
uniforms are scanned again and the numbers are
compared to our original count and recorded in
our system. 3. Our Service Sales Representative
checks the counts for all garments before
loading his truck. 4. Delivery - The customer
gets clean uniforms plus a controlled inventory
flow. This system ensures the right garment is
at the right place at the right
time. 5. Documented verification is forwarded to
your program contact.

Service Overview
Personalized Bar Code Label
Each employees uniforms are bar code labeled
with customers information on the customer
account and individual wearer.
  • 1. Delivery Service
  • Clean uniforms delivered (based on prior weeks
    soiled pick-up)
  • Clean uniforms delivered to garment locker
  • Soiled garments should be deposited in soil
    lock-up container
  • Soiled garments picked up for cleaning
  • Soiled garments are scanned, by item and by
    employee, after each pick-up by Cintas Plant
    personnel
  • Pick-up information is recorded and documented
  • Copy of pick-up and delivery documentation left
    with MD Andersons program contact on day of
    delivery
  • 2. Professional Garment Cleaning and Maintenance
  • Each garment is carefully inspected each week
  • Garment is professionally cleaned in a water wash
    process
  • All repairs are made as needed, or at employees
    request
  • Garment repair tags will be available at each
    location (See Service Request Tag)
  • Size changes will be made at employees request
  • Garments will be automatically upgraded as they
    wear out to ensure continuous protection and
    quality

assists in controlling inventory

it will be your permanent identification at Cintas

Each employee will have a wearer selected for
him/her
This code is to identify the type of garment
  • 1. Employee Fittings
  • Each employee will select from available options
  • - Coveralls
  • - Shirts and Pants
  • Cintas will provide samples to ensure accurate
    fit and comfort
  • All sizing information for each employee will be
    maintained in our computer file
  • 2. Order Garments
  • Each employee will be issued their specified sets
    of garments
  • All garments will be bar code labeled
  • (See Personalized Bar Code Label)
  • 3. Delivery Schedule Established
  • Pick-up/delivery same day each week with the
    exception of holidays you will be notified of
    holiday schedules
  • All service issues will be documented by Service
    Sales Representative and responsive action taken

We respond to your changing needs One month after
your program begins, we will return to personally
conduct a complete Service Evaluation. After
that, we will conduct regular Service
Evaluations. We feel that it is vital to keep on
top of your changing needs. Because that way, we
not only meet your expectations, we actually
exceed them.
