• The Friend To Friend Networks primary purpose
  is to aid employees and past employees of the
  Union Pacific Railroad, and their families by
  providing relief in times of need and distress
• Run and funded by active and retired employees
  of the Union Pacific Railroad
• A non-profit tax-exempt organization under
  section 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) of the IRS Code

• Friends will help in the time of need making
  charitable donations in the form of monies to
  families or individuals requesting help.

  by a cash or check donation, 100 of your
  donation will be given back

  railroad employees, their wives and husbands and
  their kids, whether working or retired. Youve
  done it before and you can do it again, but now
  you can do it along with so many others and you
  wont even know its been given

• A UP employee spouse were vacationing in a
  mountain cabin. A gas leak in the cabin ignited
  and both sustained severe burns to their bodies
  lungs. They were put into an induced coma while
  their lungs got better. They are doing better
  today, the employee is back to work and promoting
  payroll deduction.
• A retired UP employee needed a wheelchair ramp on
  their house. An application was put in to help
  put the ramp on the house. The labor was done by
  volunteer UP employees. The retired UP employee
  has now passed away and the ramp was moved to
  another employee who needed a ramp on his house.
• Two new UP employees on their way to work were
  involved in a car accident. The pickup they were
  riding in was forced off a bridge by another
  vehicle. A gravel truck was forced off behind
  them and landed on top of their pickup truck.
  Both employees suffered spine damage. One
  employee has returned to work the other is still
  off and may not be able to return. They both had
  only been working for UP for 6 months.

Since the inception of Friend to Friend
contributions, it has been a dream that UPRR
would make payroll deduction a reality. We are
all busy and time is valuable and lets face it,
sometimes it seems someone is always hitting you
up for donations for this or that. Now you can go
to the UPRR home page and in a matter of
literally 10 minutes, you can make a difference
in the lives of families across the system. No
more trying to remember to grab a few dollars to
give the person your funds, just a few clicks and
your done. Lets look at a few of the other
incredible things you have helped make happen.

retired railroad employees and their families.
