  • As listening and singing skills improve, the
    child will be enabled to perform familiar tunes
    on a melodic instrument, such as the recorder or
    tin whistle,
  • and by 5th and 6th class will have acquired
    sufficient knowledge and skill to attempt playing
    simple tunes from sight.
