    unintentionally inequitably distributes resources

  • and/or maintains unresponsive and inflexible
    institutional policies and practices toward
    another entity for its supposed benefit

    the victim

Colonialism
  • (1)the policy of a nation seeking to extend its
    authority over other territories.
  • (2)control by a nation over a dependent
    territory. Additionally, the exploitation of
    resources (land, minerals, labor, ect.) belonging
    to one group or nation for the benefit of another
    group or nation.

Ethnocentrism
  • The belief that one's own race, nation or culture
    is superior to all others and actions or
    institutional practices based on that belief.

  • The consideration of events and people
    exclusively from the perspective of whites who
    came from Europe.

Imperialism
  • The policy and practice of forming and
    maintaining an empire in modern times, it is
    characterized by a struggle for the control of
    raw materials and world markets, the subjugation
    and control of territories, the establishment of
    colonies, etc.

Neocolonialism
  • (1)the control of former colonies by colonial
    power, especially by economic means.
  • (2) the indirect economic or political
    influencing of other nations or peoples by a very
    powerful nation. Control is maintained through
    military persence and economic maneuvers.

saddles on their backs, nor are a favored few
booted and spurred to ride them legitimately by
the grace of God.
Mankind censure injustice fearing that they may
be the victim of it, and not because they shrink
from committing it.
Any dictatorship can have only one aim
self-perpetuation.
To rule by fettering the mind through fear of
punishment in another world is just as base as to
use force.
