Equity Partners (OEP) manages 5 billion of
investments for JP Morgan Chase Co. in direct
private equity transactions. Partnering with
management, OEP invests in transactions that
initiate strategic and operational changes in
business to create long-term value. Since its
foundation in 2001, One Equity Partners has been
operating in Germany, and holds investments
companies such as Süd-Chemie AG, TK Marine
Systems AG, Mauser-Werke GmbH Co, Brühl and
since December 2005 Vacuumschmelze GmbH Co KG.

Technology of Rapid Solidification
Research work on amorphous alloys at VAC started
in 1976. The first company brochure on amorphous
products was published in 1979. VAC is market
technology leader with amorphous and
nanocrystalline cores in Europe for various
installation, telecommunication industrial and
RD applications The yearly production quantity
of amorphous and nanocrystalline strip-material
is more than 1000 metric tons.
