2
What kind of music do you play for the ceremony
and cocktail hour?
  • We have played traditional ceremony music (i.e.
Here Comes The Bride,There Goes The Bride) as
well as our own choices, from J. S. Bachs,
Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring", Vivaldis Four
Seasons, Handels Water Music" and Purcells
Trumpet Voluntary. If you are at a loss, well
choose and youll be extremely happy - 100 of
    our past clients are proof.
  • For the cocktail hour, we usually play more
lively classical tunes and some South American
arrangements that we love. Its a nice mix and a
    perfect segue into the reception.

3
Will a flute and guitar duo be heard with 200
guests at our party?
  • We have played our music in settings from a
private romantic dinner for two overlooking the
59th Street Bridge on Sutton Place to over 250
people in soho loft parties, weddings, and
special events. The classical guitar can be
easily picked up with a battery-operated amp the
size of a breadbox, no problem for the flute to
    adjust!

4
What do you wear?
  • Formal - (black tie)- tuxedo and long black dress
  • Informal - Suit and colored dress
  • au naturel - better call someone else! (this was,
in fact, a genuine request, of which we make no
judgement, just not in our repertoire!)

5
What do you charge?
  • The fee charged is dependent upon location,
amount of time, and other specifics. We would
have to have all this information before quoting
the client a fee. I will say that we have
competitive rates, and have been told so, and
are NOT farming out work to other musicians.
  • What you see/hear is what you get! We are NOT
AGENTS. Our duo is a family business. If you are
seriously considering our music, kindly fill out
the request form in this website, and we will be
    happy to oblige.

6
Do you ask for a deposit? When must we pay the
fee?
  • Yes, we do ask for a deposit to hold your date at
the time of contract. It usually ranges from
50-100.00 depending on the contract amount. The
balance is payable on the day of the event.

7
Why should we choose your duo over any other
group?
  • Once we have talked over the details personally,
we have over a 90 success rate for hire. We are
honest, friendly, flexible musicians who like the
jobs we accept to turn out as well and better, as
you have imagined it would. If we feel our music
is NOT suitable for your event we will tell you.
  • Good luck in your search, hope we can be of
service to you for your special eventcall Kathy
or Pat with any other questions you may have.
