Title: Environmental problems in development of industry

1
Environmental problems in development of industry
  • Production system No,5
  • TAJIMA HIROSHIGE

2
Background
  • An industrial country was similar earnestly
and, during until the present, used resources
after industry developed and continued taking out
    waste.
  • As a result, the phenomenon that I did not
make expectation either is caused recently
    before.
  • For example, the environmental disruption as it
is not counted up such as air pollution, acid
rain, global warming by increase of carbon
dioxide, marine pollution or depletion of the
    ozone layer happens.

3
Purpose
  • The environmental disruption is a big problem
for the future of we human.
  • Therefore I speak prevention of environmental
disruption or environmental protection by this
    report.

4
Seawater pollution
  • Cause of environmental problems
  • Marine pollution occurs for factory effluent,
industrial waste, abolished plastic, oil by a
    tanker accident, life drainage.
  • Influence
  • Heavy oil leak by a tanker accident destroys the
local marine products industry or ecosystem, and
marine pollution affects it in economy.

5
Damage of Seawater Pollution
  • The left figure is really a generated red tide
    in Tokyo Bay.
  • At first the cause why a red tide is generated
is called mass outbreak of plankton by seawater
    pollution.
  • The plankton which occurred in high density
becomes a hypoxia state and occurs by poison.
  • The poison affects fishery products.
  • When a human being took the poison, digestive
function and nervous system are paralyzed.

6
Measures in seawater pollution
  • Various actions are performed to prevent marine
    pollution.
  • As an international action, sea dumping of the
waste which occurred in the land and regulation
to relate to destruction by fire in Hiroshi are
performed by publication such as "circle pole
    treaty" or "London treaty".
  • In addition, in in Japan and local public
entity, actions such as regulation about ships,
    assessment of non-assessment liquid material,
maintenance of a waste oil processing institution
    are done.

7
Familiar measures
  • When it thinks about more imminent measures, it
is important to reduce garbage appearing from not
only home drainage but also home.
  • When it thinks about more imminent measures, it
is important to reduce garbage appearing from not
only home drainage but also home.
  • In this way it leads to not only marine
pollution but also air pollution and prevention
of soil pollution by reducing garbage.

8
Acid rain
  • Cause of environmental problems
  • Acid rain takes sulfuric acid or the nitric acid
which sulfur oxide or a nitrogen oxide occurring
by combustion such as fossil fuel react in the
atmosphere, and occur and produces it..
  • Influence
  • There is what toxic metal can begin to clear up
in soil more because acid rain flows in a lake
and a marsh. Creatures such as fish cannot live
    by this environmental.

9
Damage of Acid Rain
  • The left figure is the forest which dried out by
    acid rain.
  • It has been destroyed to ecosystem by acid
    rain.
  • The left figure is the stone statue which has
    melted by acid rain.
  • Influence is given to buildings of a world
    heritage by such damage.

10
Measures in acid rain
  • For a global action for the issue of acid rain,
"Long Distance and Border Transgression Air
Pollution Control Treaty" was concluded in
    Europe.
  • With this treaty, reduce sulfur oxide and the
nitrogen oxide which are causative agent of acid
    rain wrestle, and is done.
  • In addition, in late years the industrialization
of China and Southeast Asian coutries advances,
and sulfur oxide and discharges of a nitrogen
oxide to cause acid rain largely increase, and
influence to Japan is concerned about.
  • On this account, with support of ecotechnology
for these countries, maintenance of the monitor
    system is pushed forward.

11
Familiar measures
  • Judging from a conclusion, you should reduce
    carbon dioxide causing acid rain.
  • Therefore, the measures to plant a plant are
thought about without I am thoughtless, and
felling the trees which I absorb carbon dioxide,
and serve to convert it into oxygen.
  • In addition, it is thought that I reduce exhaust
gas coming out of a car if possible.
  • These can say the same thing in global warming.

12
Global warming
  • Cause of environmental problems
  • A decrease in the absorption source of carbon
dioxide by the destruction of the forest where an
increase of the amount of the exhaust of carbon
dioxide by the consumption of the fossil fuel
etc. and carbon dioxides are fixed etc. is
    causes.
  • Influence
  • A creature does not have direct influence, but
triggers off big influence such as surface of the
    sea rise, abnormal weather, ecocide.

13
Damage of global warming(1)
  • The left figure is the ice which melted by
    global warming.
  • Water level rises, and a phenomenon that an
existing island disappears is thought about now
by average temperature of the earth rising.

14
Damage of global warming(2)
  • In late years the cause why a hurricane and a
scale of a typhoon become big is called a rise of
sea water temperature by global warming.
  • In this way global warming damages we human
    indirectly.

15
Measures in global warming
  • Recently, the earth simulator was developed to
forecast the transition of Global warming.
  • It came to be able to reproduce the climate
change that had been actually observed in past
100 years with this earth simulator on the
    computer.
  • Moreover, what damage where will occur in the
future can be reproduced by the simulation to
    some degree.

16
Summary
  • The earth has been polluted with industrial
    development.
  • It is very hard once to put back the thing which
    has been stained.
  • However, it is essential to protect environment
    so that we live on
  • security in peace after this.
  • I took it up about three problems by this report,
    but there are many
  • environmental problems elsewhere now on the
    earth.
  • However, in any kind of environmental protection,
I can have it on quite
  • a few us.
  • I follow a rule and think about quite a few
    environment, and it will be
  • important for us to send the private life to
oneself in spite of being a
  • thought what it is possible for.
