Persian Rug Auction

• Jamaat has valuable Persian rugs and carpets
  surplus from 127 Loughborough Road. These will be
  auctioned on Friday 12th October during Eid Day
  Programme.
• Any members interested can have advance viewing
  of rugs and carpets at Al-Zahra building

Al-Zahra Books, Frames, Musalla, Cassettes and
Video Clearance

• Jamaat has many surplus Books (Gujarati, Arabic,
  Urdu and English), Frames, Musalla and Islamic
  Artefacts in Al-Zahra building. All Jamaat
  members are invited to pick any items of interest
  from Monday 1st October 2007 which will be on
  display in Al-Zahra building.
• Momineen are requested to leave a reasonable
  donation for items taken.

Muharram Black Wall Cloth Fund

• Jamaat is undertaking installation of curtain
  rail system and purchase of black cloth for
  Muharram/Safar for gents and ladies Imambara.
  Estimated cost is 1500 for rail, install and
  fire resistant black cloth. All momineen are
  invited to donate generously for this.

Ladies Zari Area Fund

• A purpose built Zari area is to be constructed in
  the ladies Imambara along with purchase of new
  Zari's. Design phase in underway with completion
  due by Muharram 1429 Inshallah. Estimated cost is
  1600 for materials, lighting and new purchase of
  new Zari.

Mahe Ramadhan Workbook Colouring Competition

• TASK Complete and colour in the Worksheet book.
  Suitable for two age groups 4-7 years and 8-10
  years. The theme is on the Holy month of
  Ramadhan. These are excellent for encouraging
  children to think, learn more and apply their
  knowledge about Mahe Ramadhan. Parents should
  encourage all eligible children to enter this
  competition. Judges will have regard to the
  correct completion, neatness, colourfulness and
  creativity of the completed workbooks.

Adhaan-e-Ali Akber (as) Competition

• TASK Recitation of Adhaan. H.Ali Akber (as) gave
  the Adhaan marking the dawn of Ashura, a day when
  children would be orphaned and martyred, women
  widowed and heinous atrocities committed on the
  pure and innocent family of Ahlul Bayt (as). Each
  Adhaan everyday is a poignant reminder to all
  Shias of the greatest sacrifices in history. In
  memory of the amazing personalities of the
  martyrs of Kerbala and the Adhaan of H.Ali Akber
