  Centre of Excellence for Teaching and Learning
• Budget was allocated
• Architects plan provided

• Focus group of students and support tutors
  established
• To give students ownership of the space
• To determine a workable layout with the right
  look and feel

• Comfortable sofas and chairs

• Name should reflect the aims of the centre
• Be something linked to mathematics

• Open to Loughborough University School of Art and
  Design Textile Design students.
• A textile hanging, two designs for glass, prints
  for walls
• Chose an entry by Rachel Kettle
