JOHNS HOPKINS ARMY ROTC
Graduating Seniors You are paid to attend the
Army's basic leadership camp focusing on
leadership skills, teambuilding concepts,
personnel management, basic military skills and
tactics. Between your first and second years of
graduate school you are paid to attend the Army's
advanced leadership camp. Upon graduation from
the Masters program, you are commissioned a
Second Lieutenant in the Active Army, Army
Reserves or Army National Guard. The leadership
experience will give you a solid foundation to
succeed in your future career. Juniors There are
options available for qualified Juniors to join
the program and get commissioned upon graduation.
The 3-semester training option. If you meet
certain requirements then you can begin the ROTC
program in Spring Semester 2007 and receive your
commission in 2008. Previous experience such as
prior military experience, 3 years of JROTC, or 2
years at a Service Academy can waive the Basic
Camp requirement. Qualification in this program
option will give you an opportunity to qualify
for the ROTC Scholarship. Both Scholarship and
Non-Scholarship contracted cadets receive a
monthly stipend of 450-500. FOR MORE
